Abstract

Metriorlumchus uiestermanni a new species of Crocodylía Metriorhynchidae is described. It is characterized by: the absence of ornament, lateral orbits, straigbt occipital table, narrow -and superficial postorbital bar. The material came from beds of early-middle CalIovian age of Antofagasta Province, northern Chile.
