Abstract

The presence of Monograptus leintwardinensís varo incipiens Wood found in exposures west of Tucunuco in northern San Juan Province is reported. This graptolite associated with the well known brachiopod Australina [achaleneis Clarke indicates a Ludlowian age for the sedimentary sequence.
