Abstract

A new triassic ornithischian dinosaur (Pisanosaurus mertii; Ornithopoda) trom the Ischigualasto Formation, Argentina. - Some ilustrative skeletal remains of a small reptilian form, from the triassic Ischigualasto Forrnation, San Juan Province, Argentina, are studied. Alter a short general introduation to the problem, the new form is descri?bed and, specially on the morphology of jaws and dentition, to el very primitive representative of the Omithischia finally asigned.
