UNA NUEVA ESPECIE DEL GENERO HOEKASPIS KOBAYASHI DE LA PROVINCIA DE JUJUY, CON CONSIDERACIONES ACERCA DE LAS FAUNAS LLANVIRNIANAS DE ARGENTINA Y BOLIVIA
Abstract
A New species of the genus Hoekaspis (H. diablensis) found in the El Aguilar Region is described. This species is notably similar to H. megacantha from the Llanvirnian of the La Rioja Province. The trilobite assemblage found in the El Aguilar-Los Colorados Region provide new evidence for a correlation with the Western Argentina and Bolivia formations. New name "Hoekaspis Fauna" is proposed in the interest of a regionally applicable faunal nomenclature.Downloads
