Abstract

Revision of the Fossils Osteichthves o( the Argentine Republic. 1. Idcntity 01 Tharrias feruglioi Bordas 1943 and Oligopleurus groeberi Bordas 1943. With this paper the autor oegins the revisión of the fossils Osteichthyes descnbed Irorn Argentina. _ In this parto the specimens assigned by Bordas to Tharrias feruglioi and Oligopleurus groeberi are redescribed. The lectotypes and paralectotypes of Leptolepis feruglioi (Bordas, 1943) nov. combo (l.eptolcpididae, Clupeiformes) and Coccolepis groeberi (Bordas, 1943) nov. comb. (Palaconiscidae Chondrostei) are selected from the original materials. Both species are of the late Creataceous
