Sencillas técnicas aplicables al estudio e ilustración de improntas de vegetales y moldes de animales fósiles
AbstractTwo new techniques useful for the observation and illustration of some fossil plants and animals are described. The first one, called Direct copy ("copia directa") resorts to sprinkling powdered lampblack on the fossil and transferring the image to "Contact" paper. The second, Carbon-calco ("carbo-calco") technique, yields a carbon paper copy of the fossil. Both are easy to apply and may be used for teaching and investigation.
