ELIASOPORA BASSLER (BRYOZOA CTENOSTOMIDA) EN EL CARBONICO DEL GRUPO TEPUEL, PROVINCIA DE CHUBUT, ARGENTINA
Abstract
Eliasopora BASSLER (BRYOZOA, CTENOSTOMIDA) FROM THE CARBONIFEROUS OF THE TEPUEL GROUP, CHUBUT PROVINCE,ARGENTINA.- The first fossil ctenostomida ever described from Argentine are here included in Eliasopora australis nov. sp. and Eliasopora sp. The colonies are attached to crinoid stems and zoaria of the bryozoa Fistulamina Crockford. These species were found in the Carboníferous Levipustula Zone of Central Patagonia (Tepuel Group).Downloads
