Abstract

Se menciona por primera vez la presencia de la especie Glossopteris Wilsonii (Seward) para la Formación Bajo la Veliz. De esta manera, la distribución geográfica de la misma se extiende hasta la Cuenca Paganzo. La flora de la cual forma parte en San Luis ha sido considerada de edad próxima al límite Carbónico-Pérmico, aunque una edad pérmica temprana exclusiva no debe ser descartada.
