EOSCUTELLA GRANT Y HERTLEIN (ECHINODERMATA: CLYPEASTEROIDA) EN EL PATAGONIANO (TERCIARIO INFERIOR) DE LA PROVINCIA DE SANTA CRUZ, REPUBLICA ARGENTINA
Abstract
Se describen e ilustran dos nuevas formas de equinoídeos y peasteroideos del "Patagoníano" del Golfo de San Jorge: Eoscutella mirandae sp. nov. y Eoscutella sp. nov.? El género Eoscutella Grant y Hertlein se conoce sólo de depósitos eocenos; su presencia en capas probablemente equivalentes a la Formación San Julián proporciona un nuevo elemento para determinar la edad de la secuencia fosilífera.Downloads
