PRIMERA MENCIÓN DE LA SUBFAMILIA ARCHITECTONICINAE (MOLLUSCA: GASTROPODA) EN EL TERCIARIO DE LA PATAGONIA (REPÚBLICA ARGENTINA)

Abstract

En este trabajo se mencionan por primera vez representantes de la Subfamilia Architectonicinae en el Mioceno de la Provincia del Chubut. Se crea el género Valdesia, se lo incluye en esta subfamilia y se considera a Valdesia valdesiensís n. sp. como su especie tipo. Además, se describen e ilustran dos especies nuevas: Valdesía camachoi y Valdesia leonardínii.
