EL GENERO COELOSPIRA HALL (BRACHIOPODA) EN EL SILURICO DE LA PRECORDILLERA DE SAN JUAN, ARGENTINA
Abstract
Se describe e ilustra la nueva especie Coelospira expansa, proveniente de los niveles superiores de la Formación Los Espejos en las localidades de Cerro Fuerte y Talacasto. En base a las graptofaunas, los horizontes portadores de Coelospira son referidos al Ludlowiano. La distribución de las especies silúricas de este género puede estar relacionada con el incipiente provincialismo de las faunas de braquiópodos en ese tiempo.Downloads
