ALGUNOS ELEMENTOS PALEOFLORISTICOS DE LA FORMACION CARAPACHA (PERMICO INFERIOR), PROVINCIA DE LA PAMPA, REPUBLICA ARGENTINA
Abstract
A paleofloristic assemblage, the first fossil record from tbe Carapacha Formation (La Pampa province, Argentina), is systematically studied. The poorly preserved specimens, point out to the presence of a relatively varied Glossopteris flora, including glossopteridales, ferns and articulates. The assemblage suggests an early Permian age for the unit.Downloads
