ESTUDIOS PALINOLOGICOS DE LA FORMACION BAQUERO (CRETACICO), PROVINCIA DE SANTA CRUZ, ARGENTINA. VI
Abstract
Spores of the Infraturma Laevigati and Apiculati (Potonié, 1956) are described. They belong to the genera Leiotriletes, Cyathidites, Deltoidospora, Biretisporites, Calamospora, Leptolepidites, Osmundacidites, Baculatisporites. Neoraistrickia, Ceratosporites, Verrucosisporites and Rugulatisporites . Most species are related lo lacustrine and fluviatile sedimentary facies. Affinities with extant Pteridophyte families are suggested, especially the HymenophyIlaceae, Selaginellaceae, Equisetaceae, Osmundaceae, Cyatheaceae and Dennstaedtiaceae. These affinities suggest a humid and temperate to warm climate during the earliest times of deposition of the Baqueró Formation.Downloads
