LA ZONA NBG (CARBONÍFERO TARDÍO) EN LAS INMEDIACIONES DEL RIO AGUA DE CARLOS, LA RIOJA, ARGENTINA
Abstract
A small number of fossil plants belonging to the Late Carboniferous Nothorthacopteris-Botrychiopsis- Ginkgophyllum Zone are described. The material has been collected from a single locality situated near the Agua de Carlos river, west of Jagüé. The fossiliferous layers lie immediately above the intracarboniferous unconformity. The study of the assemblages confirms that depos it s of Late Carboniferous age are present above the unconformity.Downloads
