LENTICULINA QUENSTEDTI (GÜMBEL) (PROTISTA-FORAMINIFERA) FROM THE MIDDLE JURAS SIC OF WESTERN ARGENTINA
AbstractTwo new subspecies, Lenticulina quenstedti decorara n. subsp. and Lenriculina quenstedti violetae n. subsp., from the late Aalenian and early Bajocian of Neuquén Province, in central-western Argentina are described and illustrated. The biostratigraphical value of these two subspecies at the Aalenian/Bajocian boundary in Argentina is displayed.
