Abstract

Two new subspecies, Lenticulina quenstedti decorara n. subsp. and Lenriculina quenstedti violetae n. subsp., from the late Aalenian and early Bajocian of Neuquén Province, in central-western Argentina are described and illustrated. The biostratigraphical value of these two subspecies at the Aalenian/Bajocian boundary in Argentina is displayed.
