PALINOLOGÍA DEL PALEOZOICO SUPERIOR (FORMACIÓN SACHAYOJ) EN TRES PERFORACIONES DE LA SUBCUENCA DEALHUAMPA, CUENCA CHACOPARANENSE (ARGENTINA) PARTEI: ESPORAS
Abstract
The palynological study of three boreholes (Campo Gallo and Árbol Blanco at Santiago del Estero Province, and Gancedo at Chaco Province) from the Upper Palaeozoic (Sachayoj Formation), Alhuampa Sub-basin, Chacoparanense Basin, Argentina, is presented. The microfloristic assemblagesinclude miospores, incertae sedis and acritarchs. Information about the geological setting and the systematics of the spores is given. Thirty-nine species of microspores are mentioned. One new species, Verrucosisporites cordubensis is pro po sed herein. Eight species: Calamospora plicata (Luber y Waltz) Hart, Retusotriletes simplex Naumova, Brevitriletes levis (Balme y Hennelly) Bharadwaj y Srivastava, Horriditriletes tereteanglatus (Balrne y Hennelly) Backhouse, Verrucosisporites trisecatus Balme y Hennelly, Dictyotriletes aules Rigby y Hekel, Secarisporites lacunatus (Tiwari) Backhouse y Punctatosporites't sp. are cited for the first time frorn Argentina. The palynological assemblage is dated as late Late Carboniferous - Early Permian.Downloads
