Moluscos bivalvos de la Formación Molles (Arenigiano medio), sierra de Famatina, Argentina
Abstract
Three new molluscan bivalves from the Molles Forrnation, central part of the Famatina System (La Rioja Province) are described. They include a new actinodontoidea, Famatinadonta gonzaloi gen. et sp. nov., a new species of the modiomorphid Colpomua, C. elongata sp. nov., and a new ambonychiid, Notonychia emmae gen. et sp. nov. This fauna increases the record of the middle Arenig molluscan species of Argentina, and confirms the high levels of endemism of the Arenig bivalves from the Famatina range.Downloads
