Nuevos aportes sobre acritarcas y prasinofíceas de la Formación Don Braulio (Llandoveriano temprano-medio), Precordillera oriental, San Juan, Argentina
Abstract
Twenty acritarch and one prasynophyceaen species, fram the upper oolithic, hematithic level of the Don Braulio Formation are presented herein. The species are cosmopolitan, Lophosphaeridium edenense Loeblich and Tappan and Lophosphaeridium shaveri Loeblich and Tappan, previously reported fram the Ordovician of USA, being predominant. Previous work suggests an early-middle Llandoverian age based on the first appearence of Domasia limaciformis (Stockmans y Williere) Cramer, Tunisphaeridium tentaculaferum (Martin) Cramer and Carminella maplewoodensis Cramer.Downloads
