DOS NUEVAS ESPECIES DE TRIGONIIDAE (MOLLUSCA, BIVALVIA) EN LA FORMACION PUESTO EL ALAMO, CRETACICO SUPERIOR (SANTA CRUZ, ARGENTINA)

Abstract

En este trabajo se describen nuevas especies de Pterotrigonia (Rinetrigonia) y de Pacitr.gonia respectivamente. El ejemplar asignado a Pacitrigonia alamensis muestra un gran parecido con la especie tipo de Nototrigonia: N. cinctuta (Eth. jr.}, pero el área de P. alameniss es lisa. Pterotrigonia (RilletrigolIía) nullorum. se distingue por su margen ventral casi recto. Las trigonias fueron coleccionadas a lo largo del perfil tipo de la Formación Puesto El Alamo (Prov. de Santa Cruz, Argentina). Asociados con ellas se encontraron Placenticeras Meek, que permite datarlas con seguridad como de edad carnpaniana.
