LAS GRAPTOFAUNAS ORDOVÍCICAS DE LA FORMACIÓN LAS AGUADITAS, PRECORDILLERA DE SAN JUAN, ARGENTINA. PARTE II: FAMILIAS CRYPTOGRAPTIDAE, DICRANOGRAPTIDAE, DIPLOGRAPTIDAE y ORTHOGRAPTIDAE
Abstract
Graptolite assemblages are studied from the Las Aguaditas Formation in the type locality located in the Central Precordillera, San Juan, Argentina. A biostratigraphic study of the formation has allowed the recognition of the Paraglossograptus tentaculatus (upper part) graptolite Biozone and the Nemagraptus gracilis Biozone. The age of the Las Aguaditas Formation ranges from early Llanvirn to Caradoc. Taxonomy of Families Cryptogratidae, Dicranograptidae, Diplograptidae and Orthograptidae is discussed.Downloads
